Wrecks of Coron

The WWII wrecks of Coron Bay are among the best-preserved in the world. On September 24, 1944, a squadron of 24 Helldiver bombers descended upon Coron Bay in the Philippines, targeting the Japanese supply fleet. The attack was devastatingly effective, creating a legacy that remained hidden until recreational diving reached this part of the Philippines. These wrecks rest at depths ranging from 20 to 40 meters.
